Hasan Gazi was one of the grandchildren of the Prophet Muhammad, the brother of Hüseyin Gazi, the uncle of Seyyid Battal Gazi and at the same time his father-in-law. Hasan Gazi was martyred in 830 during the siege of Zengibar castle in the Abbasid period.
