Şar Örenyeri
Şar Örenyeri is located at the northern end of Tufanbeyli district, a few km from the Kayseri provincial border. This place, known as "Kilikya Komanası," was the second of the Hittites' religious centers, the first being "Pontus Komanası." At the archaeological site there are works from the Hittite, Roman and Byzantine periods. Most of the works that have survived to the present day at Gülcan Acar Örenyeri belong to the Roman Period. Among these, the stepped open-air theater particularly attracts attention.
