Sonraki dönemlerde bu kaleyi Romalılar, Bizanslılar, Selçuklular, Saltuklular ve Osmanlılar kullanmışlardır. Bunu belirten bazı İslam ve Hristiyan yazılarına taşlar üzerinde rastlanmıştır.
