The plateau, located at the 36th kilometre of the Mut - Karaman - Konya highway, was established at the Sartavul pass connecting the Mediterranean to Central Anatolia. In the area, which is popular with the people of Mut, Silifke and Karaman, Yörüks also set up tents and graze their animals. Alahan monastery, reached by turning right at the 21st kilometre of the Mut - Sartavul road and continuing for 1.5 km. on a stabilized road, is among the places to see. Animals in the Wild Goat Protection Area and Hunting Ground on Kestel mountain near the plateau can be observed, and nature walks can be taken in Kestel (Kapuzu) Canyon. On the plateau, whose infrastructure has been completed, PTT, gendarmerie, petrol station, grocery shops, and country restaurants serving trout and meat dishes provide services. It is possible to meet basic needs on the plateau. Its saç kavurması and honey are famous.
