Although the foundations of Kâtip Han date back to the time of Dulkadiroğlu Beyi Alaüddevle Bey, it is known that it took its present form with its reconstruction after the great fire it was exposed to in 1780. It is located in the city center next to the historic bazaars. Fine-cut stone, rough-cut stone, rubble stone, adobe and wood materials were used in the construction of the han. The han is three storeys high and is located to the north of the courtyard.
