Located to the south of our district, Hazar Baba Ski Center, built on Hazar Baba mountain at an altitude of 2.347 metres, serves with its slope suitable for skiing, chairlift and cafeteria facilities. Hazar Baba Ski Center, which has been put into service for the public, stands proudly as if greeting Lake Hazar from above, making a great contribution to the district's tourism, and dominates the magnificent view at an altitude of 1850 m. Hazar Baba Ski Center offers our citizens easy transportation with a distance of 22 km to the airport and 5 km to the railway. It can be reached after a climb via the highway built to Hazarbaba mountain, 6 km from our district. The 6 km road is stabilized, and snow clearing works are carried out for 24 hours so that transportation can be more comfortable.
