After the construction of Keban Dam, a dam lake of 64 thousand hectares was formed. Around the resulting lake, there are entertainment and recreation areas also used by the people of Elazığ and the surrounding provinces. In particular, many fish restaurants operate at the piers of the lake, which provides ferry crossings to three districts, and on the shore along the Elazığ-Bingöl highway.
