Gülcan Acar

The inscription running all around the upper part of the structure states that Bayındır Bey died in Ramadan 886 (November 1481), and describes his titles and life. It is thought that the architect of the kümbet, commissioned by his wife Şah Selime Hatun after Bayındır Bey’s death, was Baba Can, whose inscription is on the side wall of the mescid.

Murat Coruk

Built of cut stone on a square base, the transition to the dodecagonal body was achieved by chamfering the burial chamber level.

Above the body, which is covered internally by a dome, there is a conical roof. On the body, borders, bands and niches dominated by geometric ornamentation enrich the stone workmanship.

Metin Çoban

In parallel with the geometric and vegetal decoration on the exterior, the ornamentation in the semi-open interior, especially in the mihrab niche and on the walls, is strikingly rich.
