Doğa Yürüyüşü (trekking) - Dilek Yarimadası Milli Parkı

Continuing via Söke in the direction of Güllübahçe and passing through Doğanbey village, after a 60-70 minute bus journey, one arrives at old Doğanbey village. It is in a commanding position 60-70 m. above sea level, at a distance of 2-3 km from the Menderes Delta. In the village, there is a facility of the National Park Directorate. After reaching the ridge of the mountain, the view that emerges is magnificent. To the north, the Menderes Delta, Bafa Lake, the ancient city of Milet, the Beşparmak Mountains, Myus and Lake Azap can be seen. The southern slope of the mountain is forested. After a 2-3 hour climb on a path, the descent begins. The vegetation is magnificent and very diverse. For example; pine, strawberry tree, bay laurel, redbud, bear hazel, mastic, wild olive, olive and carob can be seen. Through a magnificent canyon, beside one of the two natural cypress forests in Türkiye, along the banks of flowing fountains, and in the shade of Anatolian plane trees, one reaches the asphalt road stretching the full length of the national park.
