Kalıntılardan anlaşıldığına göre MÖ 4. yüzyılda kurulmuştur.Şehir "L" harfine benzeyen bir kayalığın üzerindedir ve kenti çevreleyen surların bir kısmı ayakta kalmıştır. İç kulenin batısında iyi durumda bir Bizans dönemi yapısı ile aynı döneme ait kilise bulunmaktadır. Kilisenin batısında tahrip olmuş tiyatro görülür. Hamam ve en ilginç yapılardan olan Heroon 6 prizmal gövdeli mezar anıtı diğer kalıntılardır.
