Eski Bayezid Cami
Doğubayazıt was incorporated into Ottoman lands during the reign of Selim I after the 1514 Battle of Çaldıran, and the centrally domed, single-minaret mosque right next to Doğubayazıt Castle was also built in that period. After the slope on which the mosque stands was leveled, a flat terrace was formed by building a wall, and this mosque was constructed on it. This mosque, built of cut stone, is 15–20x15-20 meters in size, with a land plan and a single dome.

Built of cut stone, this mosque is 15–20x15-20 meters in size, square in plan, and has a single dome. A simplicity is noticeable in the construction of the entrance gate, exterior walls, mihrab, last congregation area, mihrab niches, wall buttresses, transition systems to the dome, arches in the walls, windows, and minaret of the historic mosque.
